About the Library

The Central Library of Fakiragram College was established in 1994, the same year the college was founded. It began with a limited collection of books and has gradually expanded both its collection and services.

The primary objective of the library is to provide information to users and enhance their knowledge. The library follows an Open Access System, allowing students direct access to stack areas to find and use books conveniently.

Library Rules

  1. Students must wear college uniform while entering the library.
  2. Personal belongings must be kept at the property counter.
  3. All visitors must sign the attendance register.
  4. Regular students: 2 books | Honours students: 3 books per card.
  5. Books issued for 15 days. Fine ₹1/day for next 7 days, ₹2/day thereafter.
  6. Only authorized borrowers can issue books.
  7. Reference books are not issued.
  8. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited.
  9. Silence must be maintained.
