About the Department
The Department of Bengali, Fakiragram College has been offering both Honours and Regular undergraduate courses under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) curriculum affiliated to Gauhati University and Bodoland University.
The syllabus of the courses follows the CBCS pattern ensuring flexibility, interdisciplinary learning, and academic excellence.
Academic & Institutional Activities
- Adopted Fakiragram Higher Secondary School for HS 1st & 2nd Year Bengali classes.
- Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Department of Bengali, Sapatgram College for student & teacher exchange programmes.
- Promotes sharing of knowledge, academic collaboration and innovative ideas among students.
Infrastructure & Facilities
- Separate departmental chamber.
- Desktop computer for ICT-based teaching & departmental works.
- Two book shelves for storing books and academic materials.
- Resolution taken to establish a full-fledged Departmental Library.
